Eileen J. Stevens played the violin in a Dutch orchestra for twenty-five years before turning to literary translation, earning her MA in linguistics from the University of Amsterdam. Her translations include Anna Enquist’s The Homecoming and, with Anna Asbury, Connie Palmen’s Your Story, My Story.
